The CTIFL trade show at Espace Rungis
In order to boost the image and attractiveness of fruit and vegetable outlets, the CTIFL organized three information days in partnership with SEMMARIS on the theme of “Design solutions for fruit and vegetable points of sale and markets” at Espace Rungis from 16 to 18 March 2009. The event opened on 17 March in the presence of Mr Henri Pluvinage, Chairman of CTIFL and Mr Marc Spielrein, Chairman of Rungis International Market. It included a wide panel of exhibitors on point-of-sale design and layout solutions (atomization and nebulization, lighting, cold management, labelling and display, payment units, fruit and vegetable preparations, workshops and meetings with advice from CTIFL professionals, conferences (consumer taste trends in France and Europe) with debates and tasting sessions (sensory analysis and test system). With over 800 admissions, the three days were every successful, confirming that retailers need benchmarks regarding the attractiveness of their points-of-sale.
