Alain Passard at Rungis

Alain Passard, the famous 3-star chef of the restaurant L’Arpège, was at Rungis every morning from 19 to 21 February 2008 to celebrate the launch of the oriental mushrooms from Vinas (exclusive importer). Accompanied by Laurent Richet (restaurant La Marmite at Rungis), Alain Passard concocted some delicious recipes based on these mushrooms, including a white shimeji cream soup with peanuts, a carrot-orange bake with enoki, a risotto with a brown shimeji and sweet onion cream, and a dish of eringi with lemons steeped in hibiscus. The event was very successful.
