Rungis Employment Office : a new tool
for the market's HR
This new office is an additional service to the tenants to ease recruitement
This office ("Point Emploi") was created in 2008 given the human resources stake for Rungis Market: the high turnover of he employees because of the difficult working conditions, night work, refrigerated units etc. This initiative led by SEMMARIS (the market authority) and UNIGROS (the tenants' association) has gathered all the stakeholders regarding employment, among which ANPE, the National Agency for Employment.
Over 1000 jobs on offer every day
The market's Employment Office currently employs three people full time since its opening in April 2009. Their first mission is to gather all the applications and to sort the job offers in order to ease recruitment and find corresponding profiles for long lasting employment.
1000 jobs are offered every year at Rungis market. Beyond its primary mission, the Employment Office will also be the place where to look for information regarding professional training in management, languages, technical skills etc. Therefore it will contribute to back the market tenants in their development plans easing the way to sustainable recruitment, taking into account the evolution of their activities.
