Rungis Education Programme
Rungis Education is a dedicated brand. It concerns all the education and training programmes that are built by SEMMARIS in partnership with the French Ministry for Education.
Rungis Education was created in 2006 in order to provide both teachers and students with some materials likely to extend their knowledge on topics such as the produce seasonality, or on more technical skills such as the supply chain management and stock control.
Rungis is leading the fresh products distribution in France and it was therefore relevant for the Market to provide training initiatives to young professionals. Indeed, the programme is dedicated to all the students in the food industry (future chefs, caterers, retailers, restaurant managers…).
This initiative was built in partnership with the French Ministry for Education in order to fit the students' learning programme. For each topic, a separate course material is built for the teacher and the students, and some exercises are available as well.
