Investments Department

The Investment Department was created in 1994 to manage the site’s planned reorganization. Its principal missions are :

• Development prospects
  A development prospects file, rather like a master plan, which is adjusted every year to allow for new needs and demands, had to be created to gradually reorganize the Market in order of financial priority, without geographical constraint, whilst ensuring that projects remain consistent with the constant concern to keep the site’s development as flexible as possible.
• The design department is in charge of preparing and updating this important file, which has about twenty chapters principally dealing with traffic, networks and plot viability; it also prepares .
• Annual investments require feasibility studies and technical programmes prepared in consultation with the Lettings Department, the Operation and Maintenance Departments, Sectors and tenants, as well as the works managers. The project managers, with the help of their assistants, are currently in charge of the Eurodelta zone and D8 warehouse, the Poultry plan, renovation of C1 and various toll booths, finishing work on O2 and I2, closing the D5 platforms, safety works in the Rungis Tower and connecting the sprinkler system between D8 and A2, realizing the new rail terminal and various studies on the fruit and vegetable Sector.
• Technical expertise
  The Investment Department has to provide technical advice, along with other specialists, for technological innovations and to find solutions to problems that may arise.
• Building and fire safety permits
  One project manager, with the help of an assistant, is responsible for managing tenants' applications for building permits and coordinating fire safety measures, which can be very complex on a multiform site where over 1,300 companies work.
• International consultancy
  LeInternational Consultancy missions are currently growing, particularly in China, Russia, India, Kazakhstan and England, involving several advisors from the Department and other internal consultants.
