When the wind is blowing outside and the leaves start falling you might be tempted to get depressed. Yet as all gardeners know, autumn is not a lazy month in the garden. On the contrary, it is the promise of small joys when we see them flowering in a few months when spring returns, as long as we get some jobs done in the meantime.
The earth is still warm in autumn and can take seeds and new varieties that will be nourished by the autumn rains.
