What is the SNM ?
The SNM is the Market’s News Service (Service des Nouvelles du Marché). It is a public service with an office at Rungis and it has the task of collecting and publishing data on agricultural transactions, with the goal of ensuring maximum transparency. Every day, thanks to its network of investigators and experts, the SNM collates the rates applying at each stage in the chain, wherever transactions that ultimately determine prices may occur.
Quotation = 1 product name (detailed description of the species, variety, calibre, etc.) + 3 numbers (minimum price, maximum price, modal price, which is the price most frequently observed).
Semmaris works with the SNM to provide you with the daily rates of the principal products.
